Even though I’ve been always disliking to write and talk about myself and generally all autobiographies as well, I would like to share some valuable(!) information about me and then clear outta here.
I’m Cagri Fatih Gür, was born on Fools Day 1986 in Izmir. Yeah as you see it for sure, I’ve got two fabulous names: Cagri (name of one of the greatest commanders in Turkish history) and Fatih (nickname of the conqueror of Istanbul). My family calls me Fatih while my friends prefer Cagri. Moreover, I’m mostly known as “Baran” (means “rain” in Kurdish language) around my buddies in Dortmund.
Due to the graduation from a “Double Bachelor Degree” program I’m holding two Bachelor degrees (BSc) in Business Informatics; one from Yeditepe University in Istanbul and the other one from Reutlingen University in Baden-Württemberg. In order to fulfill the prerequisites of double bachelor degree program I spent 10 months (2 academic semesters) in the city of Reutlingen.
I do speak Turkish as my native language, English, German and a little bit Swabian (Schwäbisch) as foreign languages.
Along with tooking part in a SAP (SAP R/3) Customizing and Implementation project at University of Applied Sciences Reutlingen I'm very likely to deepen my knowledge by studying and working in relevant fields, mostly either in logistics or sales and distribution modules in the very near future.
Apart from studying; · * I was on the vocals of some metal bands in Istanbul. · * I play “Ney”, a quite exotic, middle-eastern instrument. (Bit better than starter level) · * I’m keen on percussions. · * I’m composing songs through software on a very amateur manner. · * I write poems. Some of them were published in magazines in Turkey and I received some tiny prizes. · * I’ve very recently kicked off writing articles for a national literature magazine in Turkey. · * I used to be a member of History & Research Foundation and Language & Literature Foundation in Istanbul. · * I’m a fan of Fenerbahce SK Istanbul and I support BVB 09 Borussia Dortmund as well.
Those I like most are; · * Metal!!! · * Fenerbahce!!! · * Franz Kafka!!! (and Milena Jesenska as well) · * Prague!!! · * Latte Macchiato!!! · * Meeting open-minded, democratic, anti-fascist dudes and dudettes from all over the world. · * Travelling, composing, reading, writing, internet.
